Abstract
Poremećaj iz spektra autizma karakterizira nedostatak socijalne interakcije, stereotipije, usmjerenost na rutine, teškoće komunikacije te manjak mašte. Poremećaj iz spektra autizma počinje u djetinjstvu, najčešće u prve tri godine života, traje cijeli život i zahvaća gotovo sve psihičke funkcije. Poučavanje učenika s poremećajem iz spektra autizma zahtjeva korištenje raznih strategija, metoda i pristupa. Odgojno-obrazovni program treba biti primjeren sposobnostima, potrebama i interesima svakog pojedinog učenika kako bi bio kvalitetan. U radu s učenicima s poremećajem iz spektra autizma potrebna je prilagodba na razini govora, spoznaje, percepcije i zahtjeva. U prvom dijelu ovog rada prikazan je teorijski okvir o poremećaju iz spektra autizma (posebne odgojno-obrazovne potrebe učenika s teškoćama, definicija poremećaja iz spektra autizma, obilježja funkcioniranja djece s poremećajem iz spektra autizma, adaptivna ponašanja djece s poremećajem iz spektra autizma, dijete s poremećajem iz spektra autizma u dječjem vrtiću, prelazak djece s poremećajem iz spektra autizma iz dječjeg vrtića u osnovnu školu, uključivanje djece s poremećajem iz spektra autizma u odgoj i obrazovanje), a u drugom dijelu prikazani su rezultati ispitivanja učitelja razredne nastave o njihovim mišljenjima i informiranosti o funkcioniranju učenika s poremećajem iz spektra autizma. Cilj rada je steći uvid u znanja učitelja o funkcioniranju učenika s poremećajem iz spektra autizma, te dati preporuke za prijam djeteta u prvi razred osnovne škole.
Abstract (english)
Autism spectrum disorder also known as autistic spectrum disorder is characterized by a lack of social interaction, stereotypes, insistence on routine, communication difficulties and a lack of imaginative activity. Autistic spectrum disorder begins in childhood, most often in the first three years of life, lasts a lifetime and affects almost all mental functions. Educating students with an autistic spectrum disorder requires the use of different strategies, methods and approaches. The educational program must be appropriate to the abilities, needs and interests of each individual student in order to be adequate. Working with students with an autistic spectrum disorder requires adjustments of educators speech, awareness, perception, as well as adjustments for the level of demands for performing certain tasks and objectives. The first part of this article presents the theoretical background of autism (special educational needs of students with disabilities, definition of autism, characteristics of autistic spectrum disorder, adaptive behavior of children with autistic spectrum disorder, special abilities of children with autistic spectrum disorder and involvement of children with autistic spectrum disorder) and the second part contains the examination of primary school teachers and their knowledge, attitude, awareness and their actions toward students with autistic spectrum disorder.
