Abstract Odgojitelj ima veliku ulogu pored roditelja u razvoju pozitivne slike o sebi kod djeteta predškolske dobi. Pedagoškim postupcima i metodama u svakodnevnom radu pot iče kod djece razvoj pozitivne slike o sebi te surađuje s roditeljima koji također imaju poticateljsku ulogu u tom procesu. U radu se daje teorijski okvir razvoja pozitivne slike o sebi kod djeteta predškolske dobi, postupci odgojitelja kod poticanja pozitivne slike o sebi te igre/aktivnosti putem kojih odgojitelji potiču pozitivnu sliku o sebi kod djeteta predškolske dobi. Sudionice istraživanja tijekom 2018/2019. pedagoške godine provodile su igre/aktivnosti koje potiču pozitivnu sliku o sebi. Testirana je primjenjivost igara/aktivnosti u konkretnoj odgojnoj skupini djece različite kronološke dobi. Na osnovu dobivenih podataka može se zaključiti kako su provedene igre, prilagođene dobi, dobar put i pomoć djeci u formiranju slike o sebi. Rezultati također pokazuju kako se češće primjenjuju aktivnosti „Ja u odnosu na sebe“, od aktivnosti „Ja u odnosu na duge“. Cilj u metodološkom djelu rada bio je ustanoviti koliko često, koje metode i pedagoške postupke odgojitelji provode u radu s djecom rane i predškolske dobi u svrhu poticanja pozitivne slike o sebi. Podaci su prikupljeni anketiranjem sudionika istraživanja, odgojiteljima u dječjim vrtićima na području Sesveta u gradu Zagrebu. Anketiranje o pedagoškim postupcima odgojitelja u poticanju pozitivne slike o sebi kod djeteta predškolske dobi provedeno je sa 107 sudionika istraživanja. Važno je ustanoviti s kolikom efikasnošću te koje aktivnosti, metode i postupke odgojitelji najčešće provode u radu s djecom u svrhu poticanja pozitivne slike o sebi kod djeteta predškolske dobi. Ustanovljeno je kako 18 odgojitelja jednom dnevno provodi aktivnosti koje pridonose razvoju pozitivne slike o sebi kod djeteta predškolske dobi, 17 odgojitelja jednom tjedno, 63 sudionik istraživanja više puta tjedno i 9 njih nekoliko puta mjesečno. Uzme li se u obzir varijabla, ukoliko odgojitelji sustavno provode aktivnosti koje pridonose stvaranju pozitivne slike kod djeteta predškolske dobi, dijete će imati bolju emocionalnu i socijalnu stabilnost, koja će voditi razvoju trajnog samopoimanja i dugotrajne slike o sebi.
Abstract (english) The educator plays a large role in addition to the parents in developing a positive image of themselves in a preschool child. Through pedagogical procedures and methods in daily work, it encourages children to develop a positive image of themselves, and cooperates with parents who also have a stimulating role in this process. The paper provides a theoretical framework for the development of a positive self-image in a preschool child, the actions of the educator in fostering a positive self-image, and the games / activities through which the educators promote a positive self-image in the preschool child. Research participants during 2018/2019. pedagogical years conducted games / activities that foster a positive self-image. The applicability of games / activities in a particular educational group of children of different chronological age was tested. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that games, age adjustments, good times, and helping children form a picture of themselves The results also show that I am more likely to apply to myself than to I to long ones . The aim of the methodologica l part of the paper was to find out how often, what methods and pedagogical procedures are used by educators to work with early childhood children and in the top of stimulating a positive image of themselves of preschool age, by a survey of research participants in kindergartens in the Sesvete area of Zagreb. A survey of educators' pedagogical practices in fostering a positive self-image in a preschool child was conducted with 107 study participants. It is important to determine with what efficiency, and what activities, methods and procedures educators most often work with children to promote a positive image of themselves in a preschooler. It was found that 18 educators carry out activities once a day that contribute to the development of a positive image of themselves in a preschool child, 17 educators once a week, 63 research participants several times a week and 9 of them several times a month. If the variable is taken into account, if the educators systematically carry out activities that contribute to creating a positive image in a pre-school child, the child will have better emotional and social stability, which will lead to the development of lasting self-esteem and long-term self-image.
