Abstract | Posjedovanje kompetencija za korištenje raznih medija neophodno je provođenje nastavnog procesa i samog održavanja nastavnog sata. U prošlosti to je bilo pravilo za nastavne sate informatike ili hrvatskog jezika kada je nastavna jedinica iz sadržaja medijske kulture, a danas za sve nastavne predmete bez iznimke. Ovim istraživanjem željelo se saznati koliko su studenti Fakulteta za odgojne i obrazovne znanosti upoznati s digitalnim medijima te koliko se smatraju kompetentnima za korištenje istih u nastavi. Studenti su danas medijima okruženi svakodnevno, koliko u svoje slobodno vrijeme, toliko i na nastavi, na praksi, metodičkim vježbama i slično. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je doznati koliko se studenti smatraju kompetentnima za korištenje različitih digitalnih medija u nastavi. Sudionici istraživanja su studenti 3., 4. i 5. godine Fakulteta za odgojne i obrazovne znanosti u Osijeku. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo ukupno 80 studenata, oba spola (M=7,5%, Ž=92,5%). Studenata treće godine sudjelovalo je 19, četvrte godine 20 i pete godine 41. U prvom dijelu istraživanja ispitanici su morali odgovoriti na pitanja o spolu, godini studija i modulu koji pohađaju, odgovoriti na dva pitanja otvorenog tipa, te zaokružiti valjanu vrijednost za ponuđene tvrdnje. U drugom dijelu istraživanja pred ispitanicima se našlo 15 tvrdnji na koje su odgovarali zaokružujući jedan broj na skali procjene. Skala procjene glasila je: 1 – u potpunosti se ne slažem, 2 – niti se slažem niti se ne slažem, 3 – u potpunosti se slažem. Tvrdnje su se odnosile na njihovo fakultetsko obrazovanje i vlastite stavove o kompetencijama vezanim uz medije i tehnologiju. Za potrebe istraživanja sastavljena je anketa koja se sastojala od 25 pitanja. |
Abstract (english) | Possessing of competence for different media usage is necessary for conducting educational processes and more specifically, it is indispensable in the sole class unit management. In the past, this was applicable only for IT classes or media culture based units the Croatian language classes offers, but today it permeates every school subject without exception. This research aims to discover how familiar the students of Faculty of Education are with digital media, and how competent they consider themselves to be for the usage of these media in the classroom. Nowadays, the day to day lives of students are filled with different media, be it in their spare time, in classes, their praxis, methodic practices, as well as other media sources. The purpose of this research was to find out how competent these students are when it comes to different media usage in the teaching process. The participants of the research are the students of the third, fourth, and fifth year of the Faculty of Education in Osijek. The total number of participants was 80, both genders included (M=7.5%, F=92.5%). There were 19 third year students, 20 four year students, and 41 five year students. The first part of the research consisted of questions concerning gender, year of study, and the module they attend. After that, they needed to answer two open-type questions, and circle the proper value for the given statement. The second part offered 15 statements on which the students needed to answer by circling one number on the evaluation scale. The evaluation scale itself consists of these statements: 1- I completely disagree, 2- I neither agree nor disagree, 3- I completely agree. The statements refer to their faculty education, and personal stance on media and technology competence. The questionnaire consisting 25 questions was composed for the purpose of research. |
