Abstract U skladu s praksom inkluzije, broj djece s teškoćama u razvoju koja se uključuju u redovne vrtićke programe sve je veći. Komunikacijske i jezično-govorne teškoće utječu na različite aspekte djetetova života, a kvaliteta života između ostalog ovisi i o stavovima okoline prema djeci s tim teškoćama. Posebno su važni stavovi roditelja, kako djece s teškoćama tako i djece urednog razvoja. Djeca uče od svojih roditelja, stoga stavovi roditelja utječu na stavove i ponašanje djeteta, osobito u ranoj dobi. Cilj ovog rada je ispitati stavove roditelja djece s komunikacijskim i jezično-govornim teškoćama i stavove roditelja djece urednog razvoja o određenim aspektima života djece s komunikacijskim i jezično-govornim teškoćama.
U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 98 roditelja djece predškolske dobi (74 majke i 24 očeva), pri čemu je 49 roditelja djece s komunikacijskim i jezično-govornim teškoćama, a 49 roditelja djece urednog razvoja. Sudionici su ispunjavali upitnik koji je uključivao pitanja koja se odnose na demografske karakteristike roditelja i djece, te ljestvicu stavova prema djeci s komunikacijskim i jezično-govornim teškoćama. Ljestvica je podijeljena na 7 dijelova: stavovi roditelja o inkluziji, razlike u ponašanju obitelji prema djeci s teškoćama u odnosu na drugu djecu, osjećaji i ponašanje djece s teškoćama, stavovi prema terapiji, prihvaćanje i podrška djeci s teškoćama, predrasude o djeci s komunikacijskim i jezično-govornim teškoćama te socijalizacija takve djece.
Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju da su općenito stavovi roditelja djece predškolske dobi prema djeci s komunikacijskim i jezično-govornim teškoćama uglavnom pozitivni, na svim ljestvicama, te da nema statistički značajne razlike u stavovima dviju grupa roditelja. Rezultati pokazuju da postoji korelacija između broja djece i stavova o terapiji te stavova o prihvaćanju i podršci djece s komunikacijskim i/ili jezično-govornim teškoćama, u smjeru da roditelji s više djece imaju na tim ljestvicama pozitivnije stavove. Također je dobivena korelacija između starosti djece i stavova prema inkluziji i prihvaćanju i podršci djece s komunikacijskim i/ili jezično-govornim teškoćama, u smjeru pozitivnijih stavova kod roditelja starije djece. Hipoteze da će mlađi roditelji imati pozitivnije stavove u odnosu na starije te da će majke imati pozitivnije stavove u odnosu na očeve nisu potvrđene.
Abstract (english) In accordance with the practice of inclusion, the number of children with disabilities who are included in regular kindergarten programs is increasing. Communication and language-speech difficulties affect various aspects of a child's life, and the quality of life depends, among other things, on the attitudes of the environment towards children with these difficulties. The especially important are attitudes of parents of children with difficulties and of children with normal development. Children learn from their parents; therefore parents’ attitudes affect a child’s attitudes and behavior, especially at an early age. The goal of this work is to examine the attitudes of parents of children with communication and language-speech difficulties and the attitudes of parents of children with normal development on certain aspects of life of children with communication and language-speech difficulties. The study included 98 parents of preschool children (74 mothers and 24 fathers), with 49 parents of children with communication and language-speech difficulties, and 49 parents of children with normal development. Participants completed a questionnaire that included questions about demographic characteristics of parents and children, and a scale of attitudes toward children with communication and language-speech difficulties. The scale is divided into 7 parts: parents' attitudes about inclusion, differences in family behavior towards children with disabilities in relation to other children, feelings and behavior of children with difficulties, attitudes towards therapy, acceptance and support of children with difficulties, prejudices about children with such difficulties and the socialization of such children. The results show that in general the attitudes of parents of preschool children towards children with communication and language-speech difficulties are mostly positive, on all scales, and that there is no statistically significant difference in the attitudes of two groups of parents. The results show that there is a correlation between the number of children and attitudes about therapy and about the acceptance and support of children with communication and language-speech difficulties, in direction that parents with more children have more positive attitudes on these scales. A correlation was also obtained between the age of children and attitudes towards inclusion and acceptance and support of children with such difficulties, in direction of more positive attitudes among parents of older children. Hypotheses that younger parents will have more positive attitudes compared to older ones and that mothers will have more positive attitudes compared to fathers have not been confirmed.
