Abstract Roditelji i učitelji imaju trajan i najizravniji utjecaj na djetetov razvoj i učenje. Roditelji su prvi odgajatelji svoje djece i imaju, uz učitelje, ključnu ulogu na njihovom obrazovnom putu. Vrlo je važno ostvariti skladan odnos između učitelja i roditelja, radi pozitivnog ishoda, što kod učenika uključuje veća akademska i druga postignuća. Partnerstvo i suradnja najvažniji su načini komunikacije između roditelja i odgojno- obrazovnih ustanova. Suradnja počinje već samim upisom učenika u školu, a kasnije se ostvaruje kroz skupne i individualne oblike rada kao što su roditeljski sastanci, pedagoške radionice, individualni razgovori i drugo. Tek nakon što se ostvari suradnja prelazi se korak dalje ka partnerstvu. Kako bi se suradnja unaprijedila i razvila u partnerstvo potrebna je motiviranost i želja za radom koja se temelji na međusobnom uvažavanju i poštivanju. Prema definiciji, partnerstvo označava odnose među ljudima, u ovom slučaju to su roditelji i učitelji. Partnerstvo obitelji i škole podrazumijeva zajedničko ostvarivanje aktivnosti kojima se želi postići usklađeno djelovanje, stoga na njih ne možemo gledati individualno jer su potrebna oba sudionika kako bi krajnji ishod bio zadovoljen, a to je unaprijed definiran i razrađen cilj. Kako bi se školski sustav što bolje razvijao važno je uključiti i vanjske dionike u život škole. Udruživanjem učitelja, roditelja i lokalne zajednice dobro koje učenici mogu ostvariti gotovo je neograničeno. Kako je krajnji ishod pomoći svim mladima na njihovom obrazovnom i cjeloživotnom putu važno je da su učitelji, roditelji i lokalna zajednica u stalnoj komunikaciji te uvijek korak ispred u odnosu na vrijeme. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je istaknuti razlike partnerstva i suradnje s roditeljima i lokalnom zajednicom te istražiti domaću i stranu literaturu o partnerstvu između učitelja, roditelja i lokalne zajednice te pronaći što više primjera dobre prakse u Republici Hrvatskoj.
Abstract (english) Parents and teachers have a long lasting and most direct influence on a child’s development and learning. Parents are the first educators of their children and have, along with teachers, a key role in their educational journey. It is very important to achieve a harmonious relationship between teachers and parents, for a positive outcome, which includes greater academic and other achievements in students. Partnership and cooperation are the most important ways of communication between parents and educational institutions. Cooperation begins with the enrollment of students in school and it is later realized through group and individual forms of work, such as parental meetings, pedagogical workshops, individual conversations and more. Only after the cooperation is achieved is the step forward towards partnership taken. In order to improve cooperation and develop into a partnership, motivation and a desire to work based on mutual respect and esteem are needed. By definition, partnership means relationships among people, in this case parents and teachers. The partnership of family and school implies the joint realization of activities that seek to achieve coordinated action, so we can not look at them individually because they need both participants to meet the end result, and this is a pre- defined and elaborated goal. In order for the school system to develop in the best possible way, it is important to include external stakeholders in the life of the school. By bringing together teachers, parents and the local community, the benefits that students can achieve are almost limitless. The end result is to help all young people on their educational and lifelong journey, so it is important that teachers, parents and the local community are in constant communication and always one step ahead of time. The aim of this thesis is to highlight the differences between partnership and cooperation with parents and the local community and to explore domestic and foreign literature on the partnership between teachers, parents and the local community and find as many possible examples of good practice in the Republic of Croatia.
