Abstract
Svjetlosno onečišćenje okoliša je relativno nov pojam, uzrokovano je prekomjernim korištenjem umjetne svjetlosti u noćnim uvjetima. Jedan od važnijih uzroka ovog onečišćenja je vanjska rasvjeta koja je nepravilno postavljena. Uzrokuje mnoge štetne pojave poput narušavanja ekosustava te zdravstvenih problema. Budući da djeca uče aktivno i po modelu veoma je važno da se ekološki odgoj počne učiti vrlo rano. Važnu ulogu u ekološkom odgoju djece imaju odgojitelji koji su djetetovi drugi učitelji, oni svoje znanje prenose na djecu koja će to znanje primjenjivati i postati ekološki osvješteni građani. Organizirajući ekološke radionice odgojitelji mogu zainteresirati djecu za očuvanje okoliša. Cilj ovog rada je podići ekološku svijest djece predškolske dobi i odgojitelja o važnosti zaštite okoliša od svjetlosnog onečišćenja.
Abstract (english)
Light pollution is a relatively new concept, caused by the excessive use of artificial light at night. One of the more important causes of this pollution is outdoor lighting that is improperly installed. It causes many harmful phenomena such as ecosystem damage and health problems. Since children learn actively and by model, it is very important that environmental education begins to be learned very early. An important role in the ecological education of children is played by educators who are the child's other teachers, they transfer their knowledge to children who will apply this knowledge and become environmentally conscious citizens. By organizing environmental workshops, educators can interest children in preserving the environment. The aim of this paper is to raise the environmental awareness of preschool children and educators about the importance of protecting the environment from light pollution.
