Abstract
Ovaj rad bavi se temom utjecaja medija na razvoj govora kod djece predškolskog uzrasta. Djeca su danas izložena medijima više nego ikada prije, a njihovo djetinjstvo postalo je medijsko. Na pitanje „Utječu li mediji pozitivno ili negativno na razvoj govora djeteta?“ nije moguće u potpunosti jednoznačno odgovoriti. Naime, elektronički mediji mogu doprinijeti cjelokupnom razvoju i napretku djeteta, no pritom je važno da sadržaj kojemu su izloženi bude primjeren njihovu uzrastu, da televizijski... More program ili video-igre budu edukativni, da roditelj razgovara s djetetom o onome što je vidio putem medija, da kontrolira vrijeme koje će njegovo dijete provesti u interakciji s medijima, da mu pomogne razjasniti što je stvarnost, a što fikcija. Neophodno je medijsko opismenjavanje roditelja, koji će svoja znanja prenositi na dijete. Također je važna suradnja odgojitelja u vrtiću i predškolskim ustanovama, a naposljetku i ostalih dionika koji će biti uključeni u djetetov odgojno-obrazovni proces. Less
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with the topic of the influence of the media on the development of speech in preschool children. Children today are exposed to the media more than ever before, and their childhood has become media. The question "Does the media positively or negatively affect a child's speech development?" Cannot be answered unequivocally. Namely, electronic media can contribute to the overall development and progress of the child, but it is important that the content they are exposed to is... More appropriate for their age, that television programs or video games are educational, that the parent talks to the child about what he saw through the media, that controls the time his child will spend interacting with the media, to help him clarify what is reality and what is fiction, etc. Media literacy of parents is necessary, who will pass on their knowledge to the child. It is also important the cooperation of educators in kindergarten and preschool institutions, and ultimately other stakeholders who will be involved in the child's educational process. Less
