Abstract
Autistični poremećaj je biološka razvojna teškoća koja zahvaća gotovo sve psihičke funkcije. Okolini su najuočljiviji problemi na području komunikacije i socijalne interakcije. Zbog toga se koristi alternativna i augmentativna komunikacija (AAK) kao potpora postojećem govoru ili kao primarni oblik komunikacije. U radu s djecom s autizmom koriste se programi s vizualnim grafičkim uputama koje omogućuju snalaženje djetetu u svim situacijama, te je potrebno veću pažnju obratiti potpomognutoj komunikaciji koja sadržava pomagala kao što su fotografije, crteži, riječi i slično. Takav je sustav PECS (Sustav komunikacije razmjenom slika) za komuniciranje u širokoj primjeni kroz razmjenu slika. Cilj ovog rada je odgojiteljima približiti upotrebu PECS-a u institucijskom predškolskom odgoju u radu s djecom na autističnom spektru budući da predjezična i jezična komunikacija kod djece na autističnom spektru može biti znatno produžena. Zaključno je da djeca s autizmom trebaju potporu kako bi razvila najprije komunikacijske vještine, a kasnije i samu komunikaciju.
Abstract (english)
Autistic disorder is a biological developmental difficulty that affects almost all physical functions. The most conspicuous problems are in the communication and social interaction area. That is why the alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) is used as a support to the existing speech or as a primary form of communication. When working with autistic children, programs with visual graphic instructions are used, which allow the child to cope with every situation, so it is necessary to draw attention to the aided communication which involves devices such as photographs, drawings, words… That is what PECS system (Picture exchange communication system) is like for broader application communication through picture exchange. The aim of the paper is to bring the usage of PECS in institucional preschool education in working with children in the autistic spectrum closer to educators, since prelanguage and language communication with children in the autistic spectrum can be considerably prolonged. It has been concluded that children with autism need support in order to develop, initially, communication skills, and, subsequently, the communication itself.
