Abstract
Odgoj je osnovno ljudsko pravo koje započinje u obitelji. Preduvjet su skladni obiteljski odnosi, a na samom početku djetetova života, obitelj je najbitnija sredina za razvitak i odgajanje. Obitelj ima snažan učinak na djetetove emocije i na razvoj ljudskih odnosa. Roditeljstvo označava doživljaj roditeljstva, roditeljsku brigu i skrb, roditeljske postupke, njihovo ponašanje te aktivnosti. Razlikuje se autoritaran, autoritativni, permisivni i zanemarujući roditeljski odgoj. Helikopter roditelji nalaze se visoko na dimenziji topline i podrške uz visoku kontrolu, ali su slabiji u pružanju autonomije svojoj djeci. Poprilično su uključeni u djetetov život, budno prate događanja, donose odluke umjesto svog djeteta. Cilj završnog rada je bio proučiti literaturu različitih autora o helikopter roditeljstvu te o odgojnim implikacijama tog roditeljstva. U radu su definirani pojmovi odgoj, obitelj, roditeljstvo, stilovi roditeljstva, autoritet, helikopter roditelji, granice i postavljanje granica, povezujuće roditeljstvo i odgojne implikacije helikopter roditelja.
Abstract (english)
Upbringing is a basic human right that begins in the family. A prerequisite is harmonious family relationships, and at the very beginning of a child's life, the family is the most important environment for development and upbringing. The family has a strong effect on a child’s emotions and on the development of human relationships. Parenting refers to the experience of parenthood, parental care, parenting procedures, their behaviour, and activities. We distinguish between authoritarian, authoritative, permissive, and neglectful parenting. Helicopter parents find themselves high on the dimension of warmth and support, with high control, but are weaker in providing autonomy to their children. They are quite involved in the child's life, they keep a close eye on events, make decisions for their child. The aim of the final paper was to study the literature of various authors on helicopter parenting and the educational implications of that parenting. The paper defines the terms upbringing, family, parenting, parenting styles, authority, helicopter parents, boundaries and setting boundaries, connecting parenting and the educational implications of helicopter parents.
