Abstract
U radu Hodonimija Općine Sibinj daje se kratki pregled hrvatske onomastičke terminologije te se analizira i opisuje sibinjska hodonimija. Cilj je s onomastičkoga stajališta odrediti motivaciju postanka imena ulica i trgova hodonima općine Sibinj kako bi se utvrdio način nadijevanja imena. Na temelju prikupljene imenske građe utvrđivalo se koliko su hodonimi nadahnuti lokalnim, regionalnim, nacionalnim, a koliko stranim obilježjima. S obzirom na to da na izbor i oblik imena utječu i jezični i... More nejezični čimbenici, u radu je dan i kratak povijesni prikaz Općine Sibinj i naselja koja se u njoj nalaze. Prema motivaciji imenovanja hodonimi su podijeljeni na tri veće skupine: hodonimi s antroponimskom sastavnicom, hodonimi s toponimskom sastavnicom i hodonimi sa sastavnicom koja nije antroponim ili toponim (ostali hodonimi). Navedene se skupine dalje dijele na manje podskupine prema tome kakvu sastavnicu, odnosno kategoriju sadrže u hodonimu. Osim toga, u radu je napravljena podjela antroponima s obzirom na zanimanja ljudi prema kojima su dobili ime, a svakako se i prikazalo da hodonimi nemaju samo orijentacijsku ulogu, već veliki značaj ostavljaju u identitetu svakoga naselja. Abstract (english)
This thesis provides an overview of Croatian onomastic terminology and examines the hodonomy of the municipality of Sibinj. The primary goal is thus, from an onomastic standpoint, to determine the origin of the names of the streets and squares in the municipality of Sibinj. Based on the name material collected, it was determined how much the hodonyms were inspired by: local, regional, national, and foreign characteristics. Given that both linguistic and non-linguistic factors influence the... More name's selection and form, a brief historical overview of the Municipality of Sibinj and its settlements was provided. Hodonyms were classified into three types based on their naming motivation: those with an anthroponymic component, those with a toponymic component, and those with a component that is neither an anthroponym nor a toponym (other hodonyms). The previously stated groups were then further subdivided into smaller subgroups based on the component or category of the hodonym. Furthermore, the paper classified anthroponyms based on the occupations of the people they were named after.
