This graduation thesis is the result of thinking about the application of information and communication tehnology in kindergarten. Children encounter information and communication technologies, which in preschool institutions serve as resource for learning and documentation. In the work itself, I researched what information and communication tehnology is. Looking at the research, information and communication tehnology has its advantages and disadvantages, and adults should decide how and how much time a child should spend in the digital world. With the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic, we found ourselves in a new uncertain times, we faced the complete closure of kindergartens, we cuold not visit each other’s homes. the time was difficult for both adults and children. We were looking fot the best solutions on How to communicate eith children and parents and make that time at home interesting for them and try to divert their minds from problems. I reserched how a kindergarten in Croatia applied ICT in communication with parents, compared to the Zeko kindergarten where I work. The development of digital competence in children is becoming more and more important because today's everyday life is unimaginable without ICT. At the end, I presented examples of good practice of communication with parents via the kindergarten's website, which is active even after the announcement of the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
