Abstract
Da bi što uspješnije obavljali svoje zadatke, današnji učitelji moraju posjedovati niz kompetencija i konstantno ih usavršavati. Pretpostavka za kvalitetno provođenje Nacionalnog kurikuluma upravo je visoka kompetentnost nositeljaodgojno – obrazovnoga rada. Danas je obrazovanje učitelja petogodišnji proces. Koncepcija studija omogućuje studentima stjecanje širokog raspona općih i posebnih kompetencija koju su učitelju potrebne za ovladavanje ovim složenim zanimanjem.... More Specifičnekompetencije budući učitelji stječu na različitim kolegijima na učiteljskom studiju pa tako i na kolegijima vezanim uz nastavni predmet Priroda i društvo. U svrhu diplomskog rada izrađen je upitnik kojim seispitalo mišljenje studenata 4. i 5. godine Integriranog preddiplomskog i diplomskog sveučilišnog Učiteljskog studija u Osijeku i Integriranog preddiplomskog i diplomskog sveučilišnog Učiteljskog studija u Slavonskom Brodu o organizaciji kolegija Metodika prirode i društva te koliko se studenti navedenog fakulteta procjenjuju kompetentnima za poučavanje nastave prirode i društva i kako procjenjuju svoje kompetencije za izvođenje i organiziranje nastave prirode i društva. Rezultati su ukazali da budući učitelji, nakon odslušanih kolegija Metodika Prirode i društva I i Metodika Prirode i društva II, visoko procjenjuju svoje kompetencije za izvođenje i organiziranje nastave Prirode i društva, nešto slabije procjenjuju kompetentnost za suradnju s roditeljima, dok najslabije procjenjuju kompetentnost za rad s djecom s teškoćama. Abstract (english)
In order to fulfill their tasks as successfully as possible, teachers nowadays have to have a range of different competences and constantly perfect them. For a high-quality execution of the National curriculum representatives of the educational system have to be highly competent too. Nowadays teachers’ education lasts for five years. The concept of the study is to enable students to acquire a wide span of general and special... More competences that teachers need to be equipped with while dealing with this complexprofession. Future teachers acquire these specific competences through different courses, one of which is also dealing with how to teach science. For the purposes of this paper a questionnaire was designed. Participants were students of the fourth and fifth year of the Integrated undergraduate and graduate university Teacher study in Osijek and Integrated undergraduate and graduate university Teacher study in Slavonski Brod. The aim of the research was to findout to which degree students are satisfied with the Science methodology taught at the universities and whether they feel competent to teach and organize regular science classes in schools. The results showed that future teachers, after passing Science methodology class 1 and Science methodology class 2, feel highly competent teaching science in schools, that they feel slightly less competent dealing with parents, and feel the least competent dealing with children with special needs.
