Abstract
Simbolička igra naziva se i “kraljicom igre“ i kao takva predstavlja vrhunac dječje kreativnosti te je ključna za cjelokupan rast i razvoj. Ova vrsta igre nije samo jedna od mnogih oblika igre, već je i temeljna aktivnost koja omogućuje djetetu da integrira različite aspekte svog razvoja na najprirodniji način. Uloga simboličke igre u predškolskoj dobi je višestruka. Pomaže djeci u razvijanju kognitivnih vještina jer zahtijeva sposobnost apstraktnog mišljenja i prepoznavanja simbola. Kroz... More simboličku igru, djeca razvijaju jezične vještine jer često moraju verbalno izražavati svoje zamisli i likove koje predstavljaju. Također, ova vrsta igre omogućuje djeci da obrađuju i razumiju društvene i emocionalne situacije. U simboličkoj igri, djeca istražuju različite uloge, pravila i odnose, što im pomaže u boljoj socijalizaciji i razumijevanju tuđih perspektiva. U empirijskom dijelu ovoga radu korišten je etnografski pristup kako bi se dobio uvid u simboličku igru djece koja su sudjelovala u programu predškole. U radu se analizirala igra, istražila uloga odgojitelja u simboličkoj igri predškolaca. Dobiveni rezultati upućuju koliko je važno djeci osigurati primjereno, poticajno okruženje i podršku kako bi se simbolička igra mogla u potpunosti razvijati. Less
Abstract (english)
Symbolic play is also known as the "queen of play" and, as such, represents the pinnacle of children's creativity, being crucial for their overall growth and development. This type of play is not just one of many forms of play but is also a fundamental activity that enables a child to integrate various aspects of their development in the most natural way. The role of symbolic play in preschool age is multifaceted. It helps children develop cognitive skills because it requires the ability... More to think abstractly and recognize symbols. Through symbolic play, children develop language skills as they often need to verbally express their ideas and the characters they represent. Additionally, this type of play allows children to process and understand social and emotional situations. In symbolic play, children explore different roles, rules, and relationships, which helps them with better socialization and understanding of other perspectives. In the empirical part of this paper, an ethnographic approach was used to gain insight into the symbolic play of children participating in a preschool program. The paper analyzed the play, investigated the role of educators in the symbolic play of preschoolers. The obtained results indicate how important it is to provide children with an appropriate, stimulating environment and support so that symbolic play can fully develop. Less
