Abstract | Suvremeno doba nudi nam obilje informacija koje primamo putem medija, bilo to
putem televizije, interneta, knjiga, a samim time i slikovnica. Slikovnica, kao prva knjiga u
djetetovu ţivotu, ima vrlo vaţnu ulogu u cjelokupnom razvoju djeteta. Naţalost, velik broj
slikovnica potiče učenje i usvajanje spolno-stereotipnih stavova, a to se moţe primijetiti i kod
djece predškolske dobi. Samo letimičnim uvidom u slikovnice dolazimo do zaključka da
većina slikovnica promiče rodnu nejednakost. Kao takve, one promiču razmišljanje kako su
dječaci, tj. muškarci, uvijek hrabriji, zanimljiviji i sposobniji od djevojčica i ţena, a djevojčice
i ţene osjećajnije su, krhke i treba ih se „spasiti“. Današnja kultura podijelila je svijet na plavi
i ruţičasti, stoga je prevencija spolno-stereotipnog razmišljanja kod djece uvelike potrebna.
Naime, stereotipi negativno utječu na dječji razvoj, ograničavaju njihove profesionalne teţnje,
oblikuju stavove o njihovim budućim roditeljskim ulogama, pa čak utječu i na karakteristike
njihove ličnosti. Cilj ovog rada prikazati je u kojoj su mjeri slikovnice bogate spolnostereotipnim karakteriziranjem likova te kakvi su stavovi djece predškolskog uzrasta (6-7godina) u starijoj odgojnoj skupini u vrtiću Zrno Virje o rodnim ulogama. |
Abstract (english) | The modern age offers us a wealth of information we receive through the media- through
television, the Internet, books and picture books. The picture book, the first book in a child's
life, plays an important role in the overall development of the child. Unfortunately, a large
number of picture books encourages learning and the adoption of sex-stereotyped attitudes,
and this can be observed in children of preschool age. Just a cursory inspection of the picture
books come to the conclusion that most picture books promotes gender inequality. As such,
they promote thinking that the boys, men, are still bolder, more interesting and more capable
than girls and women, and girls and women are more sensitive, fragile and need to be "saved".
Today's culture is a shared world of the blue and pink, so prevention of sexually-stereotypical
thinking in children is greatly needed. The stereotypes have a negative impact on children's
development, limiting their professional aspirations, shaping attitudes about their future
parental roles, and even affect the characteristics of their personality. The purpose of this
project is to show the extent of sexually stereotyped characterization of the characters in
picture books and the attitudes about gender roles of preschool children (age of 6 and 7) in the
older educational group in kindergarden Zrno in Virje. |
