Abstract
Istraživanje je provedeno na Integriranom preddiplomskom i diplomskom sveučilišnom Učiteljskom studiju Fakulteta za odgojne i obrazovne znanosti u Osijeku. Cilj je ovoga istraživanja bio ispitati provode li studenti istraživanja pri pisanju diplomskih radova, kolika je zastupljenost pojedinih vrsta istraživanja te kojim se metodama prikupljanja podataka studenti najviše služe. Nadalje, cilj je bio ispitati na osnovu čega studenti koji tek pišu diplomske radove odabiru svoje mentore, vrste istraživanja te metode prikupljanja podataka. Provedeno istraživanje pokazalo je kako od svih diplomskih radova njih 75% sadrži istraživanje, većinom kvantitativno. Metodom rada na dokumentaciji prikupljeni su podaci o diplomskim radovima iz akademske godine 2014./15. koji su pokazali kako je najzastupljenija metoda prikupljanja podataka anketiranje i iznosi 66,66%, a kvalitativnim metodama prikupljanja podataka se koristi 11,11% studenata. U drugom dijelu istraživanja, uz pomoć provedenoga upitnika utvrđeno je kako se 62,96% studenata na određenu metodu prikupljanja podataka odlučuje zbog sugestije mentora. Također je tvrđeno kako studenti koji tek pišu diplomske radove rijetko koriste kvalitativne metode prikupljanja podataka, a najzastupljenija je metoda anketiranje.
Abstract (english)
The study was conducted at Integrated undergraduate and graduate university teacher studies, Faculty of Education in Osijek. The intention of this study was to examine whether students conduct research in writing the graduate theses, what is the representation of certain types of research, and which research methods are most used by students. Furthermore, the intention was to examine the basis of students that just starts writes theses for choosing their mentors, types of research and research methods. The research showed that of all the graduate theses, 75% of them contain some research, mostly quantitative. Data coll ected by method of work on the documents, for theses of the academic year 2014/15., showed that the most common research method is polling and it is 66,66%, and qualitative research method are used by 11,11%of students. In other part of the research conducted by questionnaire was found that 62,96% of students decides on certain research method because of mentor suggestions. A lso it's found that students that just started to write theses rarely use qualitative met hods of data collection and thecommonest are the method of polling.
