Even though there are numerous definitions of creativity, they are all based on the belief that something "creative" has to denote something new or something different. One can use various criteria in determining whether a person is creative or not, as well as various methods of measuring creativity. Not all people areequally creative, nor do they possess the same traits. Each individual acquires a certain creative potential at birth; however, whether the person will develop his or her creativity and in what amount depends on many factors. Obstructers of creativity can be present in the child's home, but also in the school the child attends. One can stimulate divergent thinking in pupils by using various techniques and it is thus important that the teachers master these techniques, which they can do through various in-service training. The aim of this research is to determine how successful pupils are in creative activities, as well as to find out whether they enjoying doing them. The sample included pupils of the third class of elementary school. The results of the research show that pupils love creative activities; however, since they are not equally good in all activities, some evaluations were evaluated negatively.
