Abstract
Ovaj se diplomski rad bavi pojavom novih medija u romanima Imaš fejs? i Bacit ću ti kompjutor kroz prozor autorice Jasminke Tihi-Stepanić. U radu se analizira na koji način autorica koristi nove medije u svojim romanima kako bi opisala sadašnju generaciju djece kojima je tehnologija svakodnevica te načine na koje ju koriste s posebnim osvrtom na probleme koje oni mogu donijeti. Jednako kao što se današnje generacije razlikuju od prijašnjih tako je i današnja obitelj često različita od one tradicionalne slike obitelji te je prikaz moderne obitelji još jedna važna komponenta ovih romana. Na kraju, zainteresirani načinom i učestalošću kojom likovi u romanima koriste nove medije u svakodnevici, rad donosi podatke dobivene anketom na temu korištenja novih medija provedene u osmom razredu Osnovne škole Frana Krste Frankopana u Osijeku i njezinu usporedbu s anketom slične tematike provedenom u istoj školi 2011. godine.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this thesis is the appearance of the new media in the novels Imaš fejs? and Bacit ću ti kompjutor kroz prozor, written by Jasminka Tihi-Stepanić. The thesis analyzes how the author incorporated the new media in her novels in order to describe the modern generation of children who use the modern technology in everyday life. Thesis also describes what they use technology for, and gives review on different problems that can occur while using it. Another important part of the novels is the picture of the modern family. Because, just like modern generations are different from the ones before them so is the picture of the modern family different from the traditional one. In the end, intrigued by the way the characters in the novels use the modern media in their every day life and how frequent they use them, the thesis presents the data gathered by questionnaire on the usage of the new media. The survey was done in eight grade of Fran Krsto Frankopan elementary school in Osijek and is compared with the similar survey done in the same school in 2011.
