Mourning is a natural process that every man experiences in life. The child's perception of death consists of five ideas: universality (all living things must die), irreversibility (dead person can not revive again), dysfunctionality (all life functions attributed to living beings cease after a person dies), causality and durability. The mourning process is closely related to the simultaneous development through which the child passes. Death in the life of a preschool child appears as a part of a symbolic game in the battle with the enemy, which has no emotional charge and does not endanger it. Another way death occurs is when a child asks questions about death that is not a play, but a real event. Some of the kind of loss that children most often encounter the deaths of parents, brothers or sisters, grandparents, pets, and friends. Mourning in children consists of three phases. The first phase of a protest may last a week. In the second phase, the child begins to feel hopeless for the return of the deceased person, crying is interrupted and withdrawal and apathy occur. It's a phase of despair. In the final phase of separation, the child begins to show an alarming interest in his environment and begins to look for a replacement adult. Problems and experiences that accompany loss, separation and mourning are incomplete attachment, change of status (birth of a brother or sister), relocation, change of kindergarten or school, illness of a family member, loss of sense of security and loss of self-esteem.
