Abstract
Osnovnu temu rada predstavlja analiza položaja stilskog razdoblja secesije u općem slijedu kulturnih i umjetničkih zbivanja na europskom tlu u prijelaznom razdoblju 19. na 20. st. Rad ukratko razmatra razvoj stilskih obilježja ahitektonskog i stilskog stvaralaštva u razdoblju 19. st. te prijelomnu ulogu secesije u otklanjanju historijskog eklekticizma iz kruga onovremenog arhitektonskog stvaralaštva, te ponešto drugačiji položaj i uloga secesije u burnom likovnom životu europskoga područja na... More kraju 19. st., kao i određene refleksije secesijom uzrokovanih shvaćanja na daljni razvoj umjetničkog kreiranja u početku 20. st. Unutar raspona u kojem je secesija klasificirana u zrcalu zbivanja svoga vremena, njena ostvarenja ostaju snažnim biljegom epohe pune previranja na kreativnom planu prijeloma stoljeća, a njen odjek trajno je ubilježen u kulturi našeg stoljeća. Abstract (english)
The main topic of this article is the analysis of the secession style period condition in its general succession of cultural and artistic events in Europe at the turn of the centuries. The discussion, in short, takes into consideration the development of the style characteristics of the architectonic and fine art 19th century creative work and the crucial role of secession in eliminating the historic eclecticism from the architectonic creative work of that time, and somehow different... More position and role of secession influenced development of the artistic creative work at the beginning of the 20th century. Within the span in which secession was classified in the reflection of events of that time its creations made strong impact on the era full of turmoils especially in creative work at the turn of the centuries and its impact has left permanent marks in the culture of our century.
