Abstract
Pružanje prve pomoći ovisi o svim osobama koje se zateknu na mjestu nesreće pa budući da će u ovome diplomskome radu biti riječ o prvoj pomoći pri ozljedama djece školske dobi, tako ću kao primjer navesti učitelje, učenike te sve ostale suradnike u školi. Kada bismo uspoređivali dijete i odraslu osobu, shvatili bismo vrlo brzo kako su djeca niža i lakša, imaju tanju kožu, manje šake i stopala, veću glavu u odnosu na ostatak tijela. Uz sve fizičke različitosti, posebno u školskom razdoblju, djeca se od odraslih razlikuju i po ponašanju. Kako su brzopleta, neumorna, znatiželjna i nestašna, tako im na pamet padaju različite ideje za igru, a neke su od njih i opasne. Krvarenja, opekline, ozljede kostiju, ubodi insekata samo su neke od opasnosti s kojima se djeca svakodnevno mogu susresti u školi i oko nje. Učitelji trebaju znati pravodobno i pravovremeno reagirati u rizičnim situacijama te pružiti adekvatnu prvu pomoć do dolaska hitne medicinske službe.
Abstract (english)
Providing first aid depends on every person who finds himself/herself on the accident site so, taking into account that this research paper will be dealing with the first aid when it comes to injuries among the children of school age, I will also list teachers, students, and all the other school associates as an example. If we were about to compare a child with an adult (person), we would figure out really quickly that children are smaller and lighter, they have thinner skin, smaller fists and feet, bigger head compared to the rest of the body. Except all the physical differences, especially during the school period, children differ from adults when it comes to behaviour too. They are rash, restless, curious, and playful, which means all kinds of games are constantly coming to their minds, and some of them can be really dangerous. Bleeding, burns, bone injuries, insect stings are just some of the many dangers that children are encountered with in school or around it on a daily basis. In risky situations teachers should know how to react in time and promptly, and provide adequate first aid until emergency medical service arrives.
