Abstract
Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija definira kvalitetu života kao pojedinčevu percepciju pozicije u specifičnom kulturološkom, društvenom te okolišnom kontekstu. Definirana je i kao subjektivno doživljavanje vlastitog života određeno objektivnim okolnostima u kojima osoba živi, karakteristikama ličnosti koje utječu na doživljavanje realnosti i njenog specifičnog životnog iskustva. Također, navodi se da su preduvjeti za kvalitetan život puno i aktivno sudjelovanje u interakcijskim i... More komunikacijskim procesima, razmjena u okviru fizičkog i društvenog okruženja. Iz ovih i brojnih drugih definicija kvalitete života možemo zaključiti da je kvaliteta života primarno psihološki fenomen odnosno vrsta generalnog stava prema vlastitom životu i njegovim područjima, odnosno aspektima. U okviru ovoga rada, u lipnju 2017. godine, provedena je anketa s učenicima trećih i četvrtih razreda u jednoj Osnovnoj školi na području Osijeka i njihovim roditeljima. Za anketu je korišten PedsQL upitnik za procjenu kvalitete života pedijatrijskih ispitanika, verzije za djecu od 8 do 12 godina te njihove roditelje. Upitnik se sastoji od 23 pitanja koja su podijeljena u 4 skupine: tjelesno zdravlje, emocionalno, socijalno i školsko funkcioniranje. Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi kako učenici procjenjuju vlastitu kvalitetu života te kako ju procjenjuju njihovi roditelji. Nadalje, cilj je bio i usporediti razlikuju li se njihove procjene (roditelja i djece) kao i usporediti rezultate dobivene u ovom istraživanju s rezultatima provedenim u drugim državama svijeta. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da učenici i njihovi roditelji procjenjuju kvalitetu života sličnom. Učenici u Švedskoj, Teksasu i Grčkoj procijenili su kvalitetu života boljom nego učenici u Hrvatskoj, a učenici u Portugalu i Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu lošijom. Less
Abstract (english)
The World Health Organization defines the quality of life as an individual's perception of the position in a specific cultural, social and environmental context. It is also defined as a subjective perception of their own life determined by the objective circumstances in which a person lives, the characteristic of personality that affects the realization of reality and its specific life experience. Also, it is stated that the preconditions for quality life are a lot and active... More participation in interaction and communication processes, exchange with in the psysical and social environment. From these and many other definitions of quality of life is primarly a psychological phenomenon or a kind of general attitude towards one's own life and its areas or aspects. Within this paper, in June 2017, a survey was conducted with third and fourth grade students in one Elementary school in Osijek and their parents. For the survey is used a PedsQL questionnaire for assessing the quality of life of pediatric subjects, versions for children aged 8 to 12 and their parents. The questionnaire consists of 23 questions that are divided into 4 grups: psysical health, emotional, social and school functioning. The aim of the research was to determine how students assess their own quality of life and how their parents evaluate it. Also, an aim was to compare whether their assessments differ and compare the results obtained in this research with results conducted in other countries around the world. The results of the research have shown that students and their parents evaluate the quality of life alike. Students in Sweden, Texas and Greece assessed the quality of life better than students in Croatia, the students in Portugal and the United Kingdom poorer. Less
