Abstract
Rod se definira kao kategorija za podjelu ljudi, a spol je dio roda i odnosi se na anatomske organe. Proces tijekom kojeg djeca uče ponašanja i stječu uvjerenja koja se smatraju prikladnim za njihov spol naziva se spolno ili rodno tipiziranje. Velik je utjecaj roditelja na spolno tipiziranje čime nastaju velike razlike u ponašanju među djevojčicama i dječacima. Od samog rođenja, roditelji se ponašaju u skladu s djetetovom spolnom oznakom te podupiru ponašanja djeteta koja su u skladu s njegovim spolom. Provedeno je istraživanje s ciljem provjere postoji li rodno ili spolno tipiziranje u dječjem vrtiću. Rezultati potvrđuju da postoje razlike među djecom u odabiru igračaka te da se roditelji prema djeci odnose u skladu s njihovim spolom, što je vidljivo i u samom oblačenju djece.
Abstract (english)
Gender is defined as a category for the division of people and sex is a part of the gender which refers to the anatomical organs. The process during which children are learning about behaviors and acquire beliefs, which are considered as appropriate for their gender, is called sexual or gender stereotyping. Parents have a major impact on gender stereotyping which results in large differences in behavior among girls and boys. From the beginning, parents behave in accordance with the child's gender designation and support the child's behavior which are in accordance with their gender. The research was conducted in order to verify whether there is a gender or sex stereotyping in kindergarten. The results confirmed there are differences among children in the selection of toys and that parents are related to children according to their gender, which is evident in clothing of children.
