Abstract
Kardiovaskularne bolesti vodeći su uzrok smrti u Hrvatskoj što je pokazatelj koliko je važno činiti sve što možemo kako bi spriječili nastanak nekih od njih. U radu se govori općenito o građi i funkciji kardiovaskularnog sustava, krvnom tlaku, bolestima srca, učestalosti pojave kardiovaskularnih bolesti. Naglasak je na raznim mogućnostima prevencije kardiovaskularnih bolesti te što odgojitelji i vrtić kao ustanova mogu učiniti kako bi pridonijeli prevenciji. Navedeni su razni problemi poput: pretilosti, statičnog načina života, nepravilne prehrane, nedostatak tjelesne aktivnosti koji uvelike doprinose nastanku kardiovaskularnih bolesti te načini prevencije kao što su pravilna prehrana, redovita tjelesna aktivnost i slično. Istaknuta je važnost odgojitelja s naglaskom kako je važno poučavati djecu pravilnim navikama i ponašanjima od najranije dobi.
Abstract (english)
Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in Croatia, which is an indicator of how important it is to do everything we can to prevent the emergence of some of them. The paper is generally about the structure and function of the cardiovascular system, blood pressure, heart disease, the incidence of cardiovascular disease. The emphasis is on the various possibilities of prevention of cardiovascular diseases and what pre-school teachers and kindergarden as an institution can make to contribute to prevention. Here are some listed problems such as obesity, static lifestyle, improper diet, lack of physical activity that greatly contribute to the development of cardiovascular diseases and prevention methods such as proper diet, regular physical activity and similar. The important thing for pre-school teachers is to teach children the proper habits and behaviors from an early age.
