Abstract
Prva i najvažnija knjiga s kojom dijete dolazi u doticaj je slikovnica. Uključujući djecu u čitanje slikovnica utječemo na njihov kognitivni, socijalni i emocionalni razvoj. Ukratko su opisani opći pojmovi vezani uz slikovnice. Slikovnica ima važnu ulogu te se naglašava njezina dobrobit za dijete kao i važnost odabira kvalitetne slikovnice koja pomaže u odgoju. Različite funkcije slikovnice koriste djeci kako bi se razvili u svim aspektima bitnim za snalaženje u svijetu u kojem žive. Navedene... More su vrste funkcija slikovnice te je svaka ukratko pojašnjena. Sljedeće poglavlje bavi se važnošću čitanja djeci te zašto je važno što ranije čitati. The first and most important book for every child is a picture book. By active involvement children in the process of reading, we affect their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Brieflyis described general concepts related to picture books. The important role of a picture book highlights its benefits for thec hild as well as the importance of choosing a quality picture book that helps inraising the child. The different functions of the picture books are important for children to... More developinall aspects of navigating the world in which they live. The types of picture book functions are listed and each is briefly explained. The next chapter deals with the importance of reading to children, and why is important to read very early. This work describes the history of picture books in the world and Croatia. In conclusion, I present the facts that I came to while researching this topic. Less
