Childhood is a special period of life in which a person is an individual with basic movement skills who possesses a large amount of energy that allows him to perfect it. In early childhood and preschool period, it is very important to encourage the implementation of physical activities in kindergarten because the movement has many positive effects on the human body. It significantly contributes to the psychophysical growth and development of children, improves health and regulates body weight, affects the development of self-esteem, general abilities of the child and helps prevent the risk of various diseases in adulthood. An ethnographic research was conducted in the empirical part. Research included videos obtained using the 5-minute time sampling technique, personal observations and notes, and photographs, which were then qualitatively interpreted. The aim of the research was to gain insight into the movement activities of early preschool children in the interior of the kindergarten. It was conducted in a group of children of early and preschool age ranging from 2 to 4 years. The analysis of the collected documentation showed that children were active creators of their environment, independently decided, initiated and shaped creative and original physical activities, which contributed to their overall development and encouraged them to move.
