Abstract
Primjeri dječjih vrtića suvremenog načina odgoja i obrazovanja česti su u skandinavskim zemljama. Sve više vrtića otvara svoja vrata diljem Europe, pa tako i u Republici Hrvatskoj. Pozitivni su to primjeri prakse odgoja i obrazovanja u direktnom odnosu s prirodom. Začetnik waldorfske škole, Rudolf Steiner, svoju je pedagogiju temeljio na antropozofiji. Antropozofija je znanost koja sagledava čovjeka kao fizičko, emocionalno, intelektualno i duhovno biće. Njezini temelji počivaju na: trojnom karakteru čovjeka, razvoju duha, slobodnoj volji, reinkarnaciji i karmi, holističkom zdravlju, umjetnosti i kulturi. Šumski vrtići, u usporedbi s waldorfskim, svoju pedagogiju temelje na jasno vidljivim dobrobitima koje boravak u prirodi pruža. Šumski vrtići još se nazivaju i vrtići bez krovova i zidova jer vrijeme provedeno u njima u cijelosti se odvija na otvorenom. Pregledom stručne i znanstvene literature u ovom radu uspoređene su značajke waldorfskih vrtića s vrtićima bez krovova i zidova.
Abstract (english)
The examples of the modern kindergartens are common in Scandinavian countries. More and more kindergartens all over Europe (including Croatia) are opening their doors. These are positive examples of the education and development that is closely related to nature. The founder of the Waldorf school, Rudolf Steiner, founded his pedagogy on anthroposophy. Anthroposophy is a science that sees human beings as a physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual being. Its foundations rest on: the tripartite character of a man, the development of the spirit, free will, reincarnation and karma, holistic health, art and culture. Forest kindergarten, compared to Waldorf kindergartens, base their pedagogy on the clearly visible benefits that being in nature provides. Forest kindergartens are also called kindergartens without roofs and walls because all their activities take place entirely outdoors. This paper compares the characteristics of Waldorf kindergartens with kindergartens without roofs and walls by reviewing the professional literature.
