Abstract
Diplomski se rad bavi temom razvoja interkulturalne kompetencije među odgojiteljima u ranom i predškolskom odgoju i obrazovanju. U svijetu koji je sve više globaliziran i karakteriziran migracijama, interkulturalizam i multikulturalizam postaju ključni pojmovi. U radu se istražuje kako interkulturalna kompetencija može pomoći u izgradnji tolerancije, prihvaćanja i poštivanja različitosti, već od vrtićkog uzrasta. Interkulturalna kompetencija očituje se kroz različite vještine, znanja i... More iskustva, potrebna za učinkovitu i prikladnu komunikaciju s osobama iz različitih kultura. Ključne komponente uključuju interkulturalnu osjetljivost, Europski kompetencijski okvir, osam područja temeljnih kompetencija te model INCA (Intercultural Competence Assessment). Važan je element interkulturalne kompetencije komunikacija, koja obuhvaća verbalnu i neverbalnu komunikaciju te aktivno slušanje. Kvalitetna komunikacija u interkulturalnom kontekstu zahtijeva razumijevanje i prilagodbu kulturnim razlikama. Odgojitelj igra ključnu ulogu u promoviranju interkulturalnih vrijednosti kroz suradnju s obitelji i lokalnom zajednicom. U radu je naveden projekt u dječjem vrtiću „Šumska jagoda“ u Zagrebu, koji je prikazan kao primjer dobre prakse, naglašavajući važnost kulturnog identiteta i interakcije od najranije dobi. Za razvoj interkulturalne kompetencije potrebna je kombinacija interkulturalnih iskustava i interakcija s različitim kulturama, uz otvorenost uma i prihvaćanje različitosti. Obiteljski i institucionalni kontekst igraju ključnu ulogu u obrazovanju za interkulturalne vrijednosti, a razvijen je osobni identitet važan za razumijevanje i prihvaćanje drugih. Less
Abstract (english)
The master's thesis deals with developing intercultural competence among kindergarten teachers in early and preschool education. In a world increasingly globalised and characterised by migration, interculturalism and multiculturalism are becoming key terms. The work explores how intercultural competence can help build tolerance, acceptance, and respect for diversity from kindergarten onwards. Intercultural competence is manifested through the variety of skills, knowledge, and... More experience required to communicate effectively and appropriately with people from different cultures. The key components include intercultural sensitivity, the European Competence Framework, the eight core competencies, and the INCA (Intercultural Competence Assessment) model. An important element of intercultural competence is communication, which includes verbal and non-verbal communication and active listening. Quality communication in an intercultural context requires understanding and adapting to cultural differences. The kindergarten teacher is very important in promoting intercultural values through cooperation with the family and the local community. The project in the kindergarten 'Šumska jagoda' in Zagreb is an example of good practice, emphasising the importance of cultural identity and interaction from an early age. The development of intercultural competence requires a combination of intercultural experiences and interactions with different cultures, with openness of mind and acceptance of diversity. Family and institutional contexts play key role in education for intercultural values, and a developed personal identity is important for understanding and accepting others. Less
