Except from the family environment, much more extensive information is provided in pre-school education.VI A kindergarten is an educational institution that makes the transition between family home and schoo. In it children play, sing, dance, dramatize und perform differente activities on the preschool level. Some kindergartens, besides classical ecology activites, offer greater opportunities for eco-education and attach greater care to the environment. Because of this, they get the status of Eko-kindergartens and they are aearded the Green Flaag, and the Ecokindergarten logo. International Program Eko-kindergarten is specially designed program od education for the environment and aims to educate young people to be sensitive to issues of environmental and trains them to make decisions about the environment protection. It takes a few steps to kindergarten received status Eko-kindergarten and then applying to become the Eko-kindergarten. In order to remain in the Eko-kindergarten program, it is necessary to renew its status every two years, to fulfill all the criteria, in the opossite way it may lose the status of Eko-kindergarten. Ecological education is necessary to insert in the kindergarten program because a child lives and learns in the kindergarten, and he acquired the most knowledge and skills. Activities are mainly carried out through play and child collaboration, and some of the ecological activities in the kindergarten include: collection of old paper, sorting of waste, care of plants and flowers, landscaping and ecological decoration of the space.
