Children are the population most vulnerable to sudden accidents, falls and another forms of injury. During childhood and growing up, they cannotworry about their own and other people's health at the adult's level, taking into independence, responsibility and awareness. Therefore, the most vulnerable group of our society, it is necessary to provide additional protection and safety and to take precautionary measures and prevention during the stay in the kindergarten. The first persons who are available to them and under whose supervision are the educators or the kindergarten. In games or everyday practical activities, for curiosity, research, temptation but also clumsiness, preschool children sometimes lead to unpredictable situations that are causing injuries that require emergency intervention. Educators who are in their immediate vicinity and direct contact are most active in organizing and providing firstaid on-the-spot events. In addiction to providing first aid, educators as non-medical staff should be trained to identify and assess the severity of the injury to the child. The conducted online questionnaire investigated the aim of the research – examining the attitudes of present and future educators to assess the urgency of the situation and to know the techniques of providing first aid on the outcome of timely care of injuries in children in kindergarten. The study was attended by educators working in kindergarten and third-year undergraduate students of Early Childhood and Preschool Education. The presented research results showed their attitudes about the importance of anticipation and acquired experience of training and safety in providing first aid in situations of endangerment of the health and life of the child.
